new poll: 66% of French support mass deportation of migrants | Eastern NC Now

follows populist candidate's pledge to deport 1 million migrants in 5 years

ENCNow

Populist nationalist French presidential candidate Eric Zemmour recently called for mass deportation of illegal aliens, something he called "remigration" and according to a new French poll, 2/3rds of French voters agree with him.  Zemmour called for creation of a Ministry of Remigration in the cabinet to administer the deportation of a million illegal aliens within five years.

The major French polling firm of Ifop conducted the poll on the subject for the radio network Radio Sud, and found that 66% of French voters support the concept of Remigration of migrants back to their home countries.  That included 97% of voters of Zemmour's Reconquest Party,  81% of the supporters of the populist nationalist National Rally Party, 83% of the supporters of the traditional conservative Republicains party, and even 60% of globalist President Macron's Republic on the Move Party and 51% of supporters of the Green Party.  Only the voters for parties even further to the left opposed the concept.
