Big banks are pushing high energy prices on consumers | Eastern NC Now

central banks and large commercial banks pushing climate alarmism

ENCNow

One of the forces pushing high energy prices on consumers are the big banks and even the central banks like the Fed.  They are doing things to make it hard for conventional energy companies promoting oil, gas, coal, and nuclear to borrow money to expand operations.  They promote expensive and unreliable sources like wind and solar. A new article in Spectator Australia, a branch of the world's oldest news magazine, The Spectator, tells the story:

To tell which banks, or for that matter any corporation is "woke" the thing to look for is whether they kowtow to the far left's ESG standards, which stands for "environmnent. social justice, and governance".  More banks than one would realize here in North Carolina do so.  If you bank is on the ESG track, it is time to look for a different bank.
