The latest attack on the Second Amendment focuses on a question about the background check for those seeking to purchase a firearm. The question asks the potential owner if they are an “unlawful” drug user.

You must check “yes” if you use medical marijuana.

However, this immediately prohibits the individual from a lawful purchase of a firearm. If someone lies and says “no,” you could then potentially end up with a five-year prison sentence since this is considered false information.
