RINO GOP leaders McCarthy and McConnell dissed Trump and need replacing | Eastern NC Now

Both of the liberal Republican congressional leaders, "China Mitch" McConnell in the Senate and Kevin McCarthy in the House have been caught out for anti-Trump statements they made last year.  McConnell privately told RINO allies that he supported the Democrat impeachment of President Trump and he hoped the Democrats would destroy "the son of a b*tch".  McCarthy told Liz Cheney he was going to demand that Trump resign as President.

McCarthy claimed he made no such statement, but then the liberal media produced a tape recording of McCarthy saying it to LIz Cheney.  Cheney denied she was the one who made the recording.

The tape of that McCarthy phone call actually gets worse.  McCarthy said no GOP Congressmen should be talking about the election fraud in 2020 and that Twitter should take away the accounts of Republican congressmen who did so.

With "Republican" leaders like McConnell and McCarthy, who needs Democrats?  One thing the new Congress badly needs to do is to replace both of them with leaders that GOP voters can trust.

In the old days, we could count on Walter Jones to stand up for the GOP base to change the leadership.  He was one of the few to publicly call for Boehner's removal as Speaker.  But our new Congressman Greg Murphy is a brown noser for McCarthy and the rest of the leadership, so he cannot be counted upon.  The best way to vote against McCarthy as speaker is to cast a primary ballot for Tony Cowden for Congress.

In the Senate primary, Pat McCrory is a McConnell flunky.  Conservative Ted Budd, who leads in the polls, however, is someone with the 'nads to work for a change.
