RINO "China Mitch" McConnell, the sleaziest rat in the DC swamp, has announced that he will try to do a deal with "moderate" Democrats like Sen. Chris Murphy, who is actually a radical leftist, to put together "bi-partisan" gun control legislation. McConnell is a traitor who in selling out the GOP base could endanger GOP takeover of the Senate this election by his stupidity. One has to wonder whose side this slime ball is really on.

We need more Republican Senators to come forward and support a challenge to McConnell for GOP Senate leadership.

Support for gun rights is a central part of the Republican platform at both the national and state level. This betrayal by McConnell is a stab in the back to Republican voters. Is he trying to dampen voter enthusiasm going into a critical election? McConnell is one of the very worst of the RINOs in Washington, DC, and badly needs to be removed from his leadership position. He has betrayed the GOP base repeatedly, such as by helping Biden pass his fake "infrastructure" bill and other big spending measures that have contributed to inflation. In the Obama era, McConnell also helped pass Democrat spending bills. McConnell is the Benedict Arnold of the GOP.

You have another so called republican that will support banning "assault" weapons.

They will start with so called assault weapons and try to expand. The US Constitution does not say shall not be infringed, unless, it says shall not be infringed.
So many things can be used as assault weapons, for example vehicles and planes. So will they be banned also?
Past time to stop blaming the gun and start blaming the person that pulls the trigger.
