Dutch farmers block border to protest ''green'' nitrogen rules | Eastern NC Now

would put a third of farmers out of business

ENCNow

Dutch farmers have blocked the border with Germany using tractors and other farm equipment to protest draconian new Nitrogen rules imposed by their government to meet new EU standards.  The rules would put a third of farmers in a country that is the world's fifth largest exporter of food out of business.

Some truckers have said they will join the protests, and another target is shutting down the country's airports until the government reverses the rules. Calls are also going out to citizens to join protests in major cities.

The green tyranny around climate alarmism is threatening people's food supplies like it has already threatened our energy supply.  Today's green tyranny is as bad as the red tyranny of the communist era.  Green is the new red.  As the immediate Past President of the Czech Republic Dr. Vaclav Klaus observed, climate alarmism is "a budding totalitarian ideology that is the greatest threat to freedom, democracy, and prosperity in the world today."

Biden's EPA is pushing new rules on a pesticide widely used by farmers based on a poorly designed test, and farmers say if those rules are imposed it will push up food prices. dailycaller.com

More "green" tyranny to raise our food prices. If this crap keeps up it may end in environmentalists swinging from lampposts around the world. Starving people may indeed get that angry at them.
