Northeast ''climate progress'' means energy shortage every winter | Eastern NC Now
Biden applauds it
Biden was in Massachusetts speaking at a decommissioned coal plant when he praised the Northeast as a new hub of renewable energy. Biden called this "climate progress" but the part he left out was that not only have wind and solar raised consumer costs significantly because it is more expensive to produce but its unreliability due to its weather-dependent nature is giving the northeast energy shortages every winter and these can lead to blackouts and brownouts.
Unfortunately, North Carolina is on that same trajectory thanks to liberals who think like Biden - Governor Roy Cooper, RINO Senate President Phil Berger, and RINO House Speaker Tim Moore. North Carolina's Green New Deal, HB951, might as well have been written by Biden, although in fact it was written by NC's very "woke" utility monopoly Duke Energy, and special interest lobbyists for the wind and solar grifters.
