Major Australian newspaper warns of energy meltdown from wind / solar | Eastern NC Now

column from economics editor of ''The Australian''

ENCNow

Sadly, the RINO leadership in the NC General Assembly in collusion with Roy Cooper have put NC on this same disastrous path through HB951, NC's Green New Deal.

The Economics Editor of one of Australia's largest newspapers, The Australian, has published a column warning of the severe impacts on ordinary citizens of the government's plan to "transition" to wind and solar energy.  She used examples of other countries farther down this path, and even California, to predict blackouts and family power bills rising by over $1,000 a year.

"The lesson for Australia is that reliable and affordable energy is a critical ingredient of economic prosperity and community wellbeing.  Political bromides coupled with wishful thinking of climate activists, including those running our bureaucracy, won't do the job". she concluded.

Her excellent column is reprinted at Stop These Things:
