Last coal plant closing, Hawaii power prices to skyrocket | Eastern NC Now

warning for what RINOs did to NC with NC Green New Deal HB951

ENCNow

Hawaii will be a good example of what is in store for North Carolina after RINO legislative leaders Phil Berger and Tim Moore rammed through NC's Green New Deal, HB951.  Thanks to legislation adopted two years ago, Hawaii's last coal fired power plant closes September 1.

Hawaii will rely heavily on weather dependent wind and solar, backed up by a big battery, much like what the woke Duke Energy wants to do in North Carolina.  The big battery will be charged with electricity generated from oil, which is much more expensive than coal.  Big batteries have been proven failures everywhere they have been tried.  The operator of South Australia's big battery has already been fined heavily for its failure during the state's first ever statewide blackout, and has also been sued in civil court because it cannot even provide enough power to keep the grid stable.  Big batteries have caught fire from the lithium in them spontaneously combusting in South Korea, Belgium, and the Australian state of VIctoria.

Hawaiians are sure to see skyrocketing power prices and blackouts from these flawed energy policies.  How far behind will North Carolina be?
