Press Release:

Washington, D.C.     Yesterday, Cheri Beasley sent out a fundraising email asking for donations based on her ties to four liberal candidates, laughably calling themselves the "flippable five": Beasley, John Fetterman, Mandela Barnes, Val Demings, and Tim Ryan. A better name would be the "fringe five."

Here's just a small, recent sample of some of the insanity from these candidates:

    John Fetterman

  • Amid a national crime spree, Fetterman wants to release a third of the prison population. It's unsurprising since crime skyrocketed in Braddock under his leadership and he didn't care.
  • Coward Fetterman is still in hiding. It's been 120 days since his last sit-down interview and 11 days since he was challenged to 5 debates across the state, with no response. Must be nice to sit back while mom and dad pay your bills.

    Mandela Barnes

  • Barnes sides with Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and "The Squad" in an effort to end cash bail. It's unsurprising given how close he is to the "Defund the Police" movement.
  • Barnes has no time for "ratchets" or paying taxes.

    Val Demings

  • Demings fails to back the blue and gives credence to anti-police radicals.
  • Demings also boasts a 100% voting record with Joe Biden.

    Tim Ryan

  • Also boasting a 100% Biden voting record, Tim Ryan has never met a tax hike he didn't like - $6.74 trillion worth of them.
  • Ryan also voted against condemning the Defund the Police movement and he called police and our courts a "New Jim Crow."

Statement from NRSC Spokesman T.W. Arrighi: "Just like she did with Cori Bush, Cheri Beasley loves to tout her liberal ties when it comes to fundraising but turn around and try to claim she is a moderate to North Carolinians. The truth is, when a politician shows you their true allegiances, believe them. Cheri Beasley is a liberal who is out of step with North Carolina and therefore will not make it to the U.S. Senate, just like Fetterman, Barnes, Demings, and Ryan."
