Iowa to vote on strong gun rights Constitutional amendment | Eastern NC Now

says gun ownership a ''fundamental right''

ENCNow

Iowa will be voting in November on a very strong gun rights amendment to their state Constitution.  The language declares that gun ownership is a "fundamental right" of the citizens of the sovereign state of Iowa and that right is to be strictly construed by courts.  Iowa is currently one of the few states without a gun rights provision in its constitution.
