Ukraine continues advances in southern counteroffensive | Eastern North Carolina Now

UPDATED - Russian units mutiny and refuse to fight

ENCNow

Ukrainian forces continue their advances in their southern counteroffensive toward the key Russian occupied city of Kherson. The first line of Russian defenses had already been breached in multiple places and Ukrainian forces have now breached the second line of defenses in several places.  Russian troops, although recently reinforced, are low on supplies and their supply lines / lines of retreat over three key bridges over the Dnipro River have been destroyed by Ukrainian HIMARS rocket fire.  A significant Russian force is threatened with being cut off and surrounded.

That is some trick shooting down a jet fighter with a rifle. I would imagine it would involve a whole lot of luck in hitting a vital spot. That plane was clearly spiraling to the ground and there was no indication of any other cause like a missile hit.
