Box of M16 weapons shipped to couple’s home | Eastern NC Now
A bit more than what they ordered
A couple got the surprise of a lifetime when a box of M16 assault rifles was shipped to their house.
The military grade weapons were inside one of the 100 empty gun storage cases they had ordered from from a military surplus website to resell on eBay.
When the cases arrived and they were opened up, the couple from Houston, Texas found around a dozen M16 rifles.
Of the cases, one of them said: “It’s just a case, everybody can buy it online”, reports KXII.
They reported the haul to the authorities and within hours the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives seized the guns got a search warrant for the storage unit containing 100 more.

I would say now a days that the couple was lucky the feds did not arrest them instead of going after those selling them.
