President Bolsonaro called ''Trump of the Tropics"

The right dominated the election for Brazil's Congress with the parties backing President Jair Bolsonaro, sometimes called the "Trump of the Tropics", winning 235 seats.  The parties backing his main rival, socialist former President Lula, won 124 seats.  Bolsonaro's own party tripled its number of seats from the previous election.

The presidential race will proceed to a runoff between Bolsonaro and Lula, as Bolsonaro outperformed the polls by 14 points.
