New 10%+ gas price increase in Beaufort County today | Eastern NC Now

Speedway jumps price 38 cents per gallon - Biden responsible

ENCNow

The station that is always first to raise prices and last to lower them, Speedway, has raised its gas prices by 38 cents per gallon today, an increase of over ten percent.  All other stations are expected to follow but as of now some are still at the old price, including Murphy Express at $3.12 and the convenience store at Bridge and 3rd street at $3.11.  Fill your tanks now if you can.

Unlike Speedway's last increase, which was just to raise the Beaufort County price back up to the Greenville price, this one has national policy fingerprints, and it is the Biden regime's hands on it.  Biden's policies of slashing oil and gas production has made us dependent on OPEC again and OPEC just raised their prices.  Under President Trump, we were energy independent and actually exporting petroleum products, and we had the Keystone Pipeline, with access to lots of Canadian oil under construction, which would have been operational by now.

Biden tried a political gimmick for election purposes of drawing down our strategic petroleum reserves through November, which is a security risk, to try to depress the price of gas through election day.  He even sold large quantities of that oil to communist China.  Now all of that is blowing up in his face.

As much as I hate to see gas prices go up again, it was going to happen and IMO it is better it happens before early voting starts.
