Louisiana divests from Blackrock over far left ESG agenda | Eastern NC Now
follows West Virginia and Texas in removing all state funds
Louisiana has now followed West Virginia and Texas in removing all state funds from the Blackrock investment firm over their adherence to far left ESG (Environment, Social Justice, Governance) concepts, which include the "net zero" attack on conventional energy. Louisiana State Treasurer John Schroeder declared, "They are pushing their agendas contrary to the best interests of the people whose money they are using. A focus on political or social goals or placing those goals above their duty to enhance investors' returns is unacceptable". He also pointed out that it is a violation of their fiduciary duty to investors.
No conservative, and no investor interested in the best return on their money should EVER deal with the far left political hacks at Blackrock. Blackrock also adheres to the globalist totalitarian "Great Reset" of the World Economic forums. If your retirement accounts are with far left Blackrock, move them.
It is past time for North Carolina to cut off Blackrock.
