British Home Secretary Suella Braverman has pledged to do "whatever it takes" to stop illegal immigration into the UK. The Home Secretary is one of the most powerful positions in the British cabinet and immigration policy is one of its policy areas.
Braverman is a small "c" conservative who as Attorney General in the previous cabinet took strong action to stop "woke" policies of local governments.
