Beasley doesn’t deserve them | Eastern North Carolina Now | When it comes to Ted Budd and Cheri Beasley, Ted Budd is the only candidate who knows the importance of law enforcement and keeping our communities safe.

Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19)
Press Release:

When it comes to Ted Budd and Cheri Beasley, Ted Budd is the only candidate who knows the importance of law enforcement and keeping our communities safe.

Law enforcement groups across the state have endorsed Ted Budd because they know he will fight for these brave men and women and brings them more opportunities, training and resources.

While he's been endorsed by the North Carolina Troopers Association, North Carolina Police Benevolent Association and North Carolina Fraternal Order of Police, Cheri Beasley has been trying to hide her soft-on-crime track record which includes:

  • Defending cop-killers.
  • Throwing out the indictment of child sex predators.
  • Overturning the sentence of a convicted murderer who shot a young boy in the face.
  • Looking up to Cori Bush, the leader of the "Defund the Police" movement.
  • Fundraising with four other far-left Democrats who are all anti-police.

"Law enforcement made the right decision in choosing to steer clear of soft-on-crime Cheri Beasley." - RNC Spokeswoman Taylor Mazock
