Silence from Cheri | Eastern North Carolina Now | There is a crisis at the southern border and Cheri Beasley has yet to address it. With open borders comes rising drug use and violent crimes across the country.

Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19)
Press Release:

There is a crisis at the southern border and Cheri Beasley has yet to address it. With open borders comes rising drug use and violent crimes across the country.

The Biden Border Crisis doesn't just affect the southern border; it affects all of America, including the Tar Heel State. Cheri Beasley's silence is deafening.

Since Biden took office, there have been over 900,000 gotaways, and with them, thousands of pounds of illegal drugs. These drugs, including fentanyl, have flooded our communities.

Fentanyl overdoses are now the leading cause of death for 18 to 45 year olds. The DEA warns that Mexican cartels are "killing Americans with fentanyl at catastrophic and record rates like we've never seen before."

"Cheri Beasley's soft-on-crime agenda is also a soft-on-border agenda, both of which have led to more unsafe North Carolina communities." - RNC Spokeswoman Taylor Mazock
