Pay to Play Frankie? | Eastern North Carolina Now

answer at candidates forum strongly suggests that

ENCNow

Frankie Waters' comment at one of the candidates forums that he owed nothing to the conservatives in the Beaufort County Republican Party has gotten a lot of attention but his statement following that comment is equally important - "they have not given me any money".    That smells very strongly of pay to play.  Frankie "owes" those who give him money and does their bidding as a county commissioner.

Is that why he is a big spender and spends county money like a drunk sailor?  He is paying back the special interests?

What is the old saying? Follow the money. Seems to be true in a lot of politician's cases. Getting pretty bad when they come out in a public forum and admit they are for sale to the ones that pays them. Not even trying to hid it any more.

What does Frankie Waters think he is? The best politician that MONEY CAN BUY? Listening to the video tape of the candidate forum it is very clear that Frankie Waters stated he did not owe conservatives anything because they had not paid him any money. It would be interesting to go back and track who benefited from Waters' votes and how much they paid him.
