U.S. Senate candidate John Fetterman (D) yelled at Republican challenger Dr. Mehmet Oz Tuesday night during the candidate's final statements in the debate.

Fetterman has faced scrutiny over his fitness for office after he suffered a stroke earlier this year and has demonstrated that he sometimes struggles to understand words and has difficulty speaking and often needs conversations transcribed for him just to understand what is being said.

Fetterman repeatedly struggled throughout the night, often giving choppy answers that did not make sense and that seemed rushed, anxious, and many times did not address the questions being asked.

"I've talked to couples who want to make their first down payment on a new house and they can't afford it anymore because of interest rates," Oz said during his final closing statement. "I've talked to families-"

Out of the blue, Fetterman shouted, "You want to cut social security!"

"Mr. Fetterman, it's his turn for his closing," the debate moderator fired back at Fetterman.
