Kanye West Shreds The ‘Godless’ Media: ‘We Are In A Battle With The Media’ | Eastern North Carolina Now

    Rapper Kanye West slammed the mainstream media during an interview this week where he said that God was preparing Christians for "real battles" against godless forces, which included the media.

    West made the remarks during a wide ranging interview Thursday night with Fox News host Tucker Carlson after arriving back in the U.S. from France where he attended the Paris Fashion Week.

    West made the remarks during a portion of the interview where he was asked about the "White Lives Matter" clothing that he wore this week which triggered the political Left.

    When asked why he did it, West responded that it largely just felt "right."

    "It's using a gut instinct, a connection with God, and just brilliance," West said. "You know, like, because if you ask, like, Tonya Harding how she did the triple flip or the triple spin she was in so much practice that, when it was time for her to skate in a - in a - in a competitive format, it just happened. Like, it happened outside of practice. It happened in the real format."

    "And that's what happened. That's what happened as God is like preparing us for the real - for the real battles," West continued. "And we are - we are in a battle with the media. Like, the majority of the media has a Godless agenda."

    KANYE WEST, MUSICIAN: Yes.

    CARLSON: Why did you do that, and what did it mean?

    WEST: You know, I did - I do certain things from a feeling.

    I - like, I just channel the energy. It just feels right. It's using a gut instinct, a connection with God, and just brilliance. You know, like, because if you ask, like, Tonya Harding how she did the triple flip or the triple spin...

    CARLSON: Yes.

    And that's what happened. That's what happened as God is like preparing us for the real - for the real battles. And we are - we are in a battle with the media. Like, the majority of the media has a Godless agenda.

    And their jokes are not working. This whole, like, oh, Ye's crazy and all these things, they don't work, because the media has - you know, they've also watched travesties happen, just even specifically to me, and just watch it and act like it wasn't happening. And they stayed quiet about it.
