"The View" host Sunny Hostin claimed on Tuesday that inflation was little more than a Republican talking point being used to distract people from the real issues facing Americans - like abortion.

Hostin - who just inked a multi-year, multi-million dollar deal to stay at "The View" for another three seasons - argued during Tuesday's broadcast that Republicans were only talking about issues like inflation and illegal immigration because they had misjudged the debate about abortion in the wake of the Supreme Court's decision overturning Roe v. Wade.

Cohost Sara Haines began the conversation with a question about illegal immigration - noting that it had certainly been a problem through multiple administrations - and she voiced her frustration that despite all the talk and promises, no one in either party ever appeared to do anything about it.

"If they are doing something, what I wish I could hear right now is just, 'Hey, this is really complicated, but here are a few things we've done,'" Haines said. "Am I missing something? Because it feels like the administration's that get in there, they all dodge, they get in there saying they want to work on immigration, then no one talks about it and we're all like, 'we all agree it's a problem' - what am I missing there?"

Hostin pushed back, arguing that the immigration problem was really former President Donald Trump's fault. "He was separating families and having children sleep on floors," she said, adding that the only reason it had become an issue again was that Republican governors had started busing migrants to self-proclaimed sanctuary cities.

Hostin then claimed that Vice President Kamala Harris was managing the situation, touting her visit to the border (she visited El Paso, Texas - some 400 miles from the constantly overwhelmed Del Rio sector) as well as her visit to some of the countries where many of the migrants were coming from.

"But I reject the framing that the issue here really is about immigration and that the issue here is about inflation," Hostin continued. "Because that's a Republican framing. Really the issue here is that the Republicans misjudged the abortion debate. They misjudged it."

But according to the latest Monmouth University poll, it's Hostin who misjudged which issues are truly important to American voters. The latest data suggests that inflation is, in fact, the top issue concerning voters: 82% said that inflation was "extremely or very important" and only 30% approved of the way that President Joe Biden has handled it.

Crime, elections and voting, jobs and unemployment, immigration, and infrastructure were all ranked as more important that abortion access.

The Democrat leadership has made constant, profound and incredible pronouncements that one's supportive vote for Republicans is tantamount to surrendering Democracy forever. Understanding their sincere thinking in their extreme position: How will you still vote on this election day?
Democrat; because the continuance of this Democracy from the existential threat of extreme Republicans is paramount.
Republican; the process of having a choice is the democratic method within what so called "Democracy" does exists.
For the best candidate; and to be clear: This Constitutional Republic /this Representative Republic is not a Democracy, and never has been.

Inarguably, the policies of the Democrats in congress and Joe Biden as the Executive is plunging the United States into a recession, if we are not already there; a recession that was completely avoidable. Will abrupt changes in policies occur in time?
Yes, the Democrats have a bold plan, yet to be revealed, to save us.
No, there will have to be a complete undoing of the damage done by these Democrats.
I can't do simple math, so how am I to understand the concept of basic economics.
