Election Day 2022 prayer | Eastern NC Now

Most gracious and merciful heavenly Father, we praise You as the Creator of the Heavens and Earth and as our Creator. We thank You for the precious gift of life. As the God of righteousness, we ask You to put righteous leaders in positions of authority in our federal government, state governments, and local governments. Because You are the God whose mercy endures forever, we ask You to show Your mercy on the United States of America and its people—to bless us with what is best for our nation, communities, and families, not what we deserve.

As the God of truth, we ask You to shine the light of your truth on places of darkness, including the government, business, education, media, arts & entertainment, religion, and family mountains. We ask You to remove the veil, anything and everything that is keeping people from knowing and experiencing Your deep, abiding love. We pray for a LOVE REVOLUTION, where acts of kindness and generosity abound. We acknowledge that every good gift comes from above, from You Father. 

We cry out for revival and awakening in America and around the world. Bless Your children supernaturally that we may be a blessing to many others in the world. 

In Jesus’ name, we pray.
