    (Advance, NC)     US Senator-Elect Ted Budd announced today that Jonathan Felts will serve as the Chairman of the transition team who will manage the process of setting up the new offices as Ted moves from the US House to the US Senate. The transition team also announced a new email for anyone who might be interested in working for Ted.

    "We want to hit the ground running in January and we have a lot of work ahead of us," said Ted Budd. "We want to get the best folks we can to serve the people of NC in our DC and NC offices and I've asked Jonathan Felts to work with my existing team to lead the effort to make that happen. We're also coordinating with US Senators Thom Tillis and Richard Burr to have the best coverage we can for North Carolinians during this transition and beyond. Our constituents are the top priority for all of us.

    The transition committee also announced jobs@tedbudd.com for anyone who would like to submit a resume for job consideration.

    Jonathan Felts - Biography

    You can find the long biography here but, the short version is Jonathan Felts served as the Senior Advisor on Ted's campaign and served as an outside advisor on Ted's previous campaigns. His previous public service experience is extensive, serving in leadership roles on the state level in a gubernatorial administration and on the federal level in the US House, the US Senate, and the White House. Felts has spent the past decade working in the private sector focusing on public affairs and communications while advising political candidates on the side.
