Thom Tillis tied to Bankman-Fried's Ponzi scheme FTX | Eastern NC Now

Tillis' anti-conservative PAC got $700,000 from Bankman-Fried's FTX

ENCNow

Conman Sam Bankman-Fried whose Ponzi scheme FTX has just blown up, was the second largest contributor this election cycle to Democrat candidaties, behind only George Soros.  But he also gave a smaller amount to liberal Republicans, either personally or through other FTX personnel.  One of the recipients to the tune of $700,000 was a PAC controlled by liberal Republican US Senator Thom Tillis that was used to attack conservatives in Republican primaries.

Campaign finance records reveal that Tillis' "Results for NC" PAC received its largest contribution from FTX executive Ryan Salame, a very close associate of Bankman-Fried.  Bankman-Fried's brother, also an FTX executive also gave $1,000 to a Tillis supported RINO candidate.

With "Republicans" like Thom Tillis, who even needs Democrats?
