Actress Eva Mendes Appears To Confirm She And Ryan Gosling Secretly Wed | Eastern NC Now

    Eva Mendes appeared to confirm the longtime rumors that she and actor Ryan Gosling are actually married and that the two secretly wed at some point during their eleven-year relationship.

    During the 48-year-old actress' recent appearance on Channel Nine's "Today" in Australia, Mendes discussed the warm welcome she and Gosling received in that country and called Ryan her "husband," Elle magazine reported.

    "Everyone is so welcoming here and my husband Ryan is here and we are having the best time," Mendes told the hosts Karl Stefanovic and Allison Langdon.

    The comment came after the "Ghost Rider" actress posted a curious photo on her Instagram account. In the image, she's holding up her left arm in front of her face showing a tattoo on her wrist that read, "de Gosling." The outlet noted it translated to "of Gosling."

    When Mendes later appeared on Australia's "Kyle and Jackie O Show," the actress was asked about the tattoo and seemed to hint she and Gosling secretly tied the knot a while ago, the report noted.

    "There's a rumor that you guys might have secretly tied the knot. Is that true?" a co-host asked.

    "But who says we weren't already?" Mendes replied. "I like to keep it all mysterious. I'm a very mysterious woman."

    "I do have a tattoo," she added. "It's just a press on...no, it's not a press on. But I got it years ago. I posted a picture and I've gotten a lot of funny questions."

    In a recent interview, the "Hitch" star said she was shifting "the narrative" about her career in Hollywood.

    "I never quit acting," Mendes captioned her post. "I wanted to be home with my babies and fortunately my other business ventures allowed me to do that more than acting would."

    "Also, I was not excited about the stereotypical roles being offered to me at the time," she added. "Especially after working on the film LOST RIVER -that was a dream project. That's a tough act to follow."

    Mendes and Gosling started dating in 2011 and have two daughters together.
