Beaufort County Schools are building a new school on the same ground where Eastern Elementary already exists, at a cost of $10,500,000.00 to Beaufort County's Taxpayers. Is this a wise expense of taxpayer dollars at this time?

19.23% Yes, Beaufort County has been awarded a 42 million dollars of grant money from the state of North Carolina (FREE MONEY) to construct school at three hundred and eighty three $ per squ ft.

71.15% No, this is the wrong time, to build the wrong school, on the wrong placement - its lowest point - of Eastern Elementary's existing location, when community schools work best.

Laura Ingraham blames Mitch McConnell for GOP Senate loss

Fox News host Laura Ingraham has placed much of the blame for the Republican Senate loss in the 2022 mid-terms on Senator Mitch McConnell. McConnell trash talked multiple GOP nominees, pulled funding from close general election races, and did nothing to promote unified issue-oriented messaging.

McConnell is also massively unpopular with voters nationally. Two recent polls showed McConnell was viewed favorably by less than 10% of voters (7% and 8% respectively) and unfavorably by over 70% of voters. Democrats, Republicans, and Independents all dislike him. McConnell actually did slightly better among Democrats nationally than among Republicans or independents.

I wonder if McConnell really wanted to win a Senate majority. He seems more comfortable being a minority leader and doing the Democrats' bidding, as he is doing now with his omnibus to negate the new GOP House majority. A few election cycles back, Mitch McConnell even vowed to "crush them everywhere" speaking of conservative Republicans, NOT Democrats. "Candidate quality" is McConnell's code phrase for a candidate more conservative than he wants. McConnell's actions and statements during the 2022 campaign were NOT those of someone wanting to elect a Republican majority.
