Medicaid enrollees to hit 100 million in March | Eastern NC Now

The Foundation for Government Accountability (FGA) reported this week that enrollment in Medicaid will reach 100 million in about 76 days, based upon its enrollment countdown clock. 

Those 21 million ineligible enrollees are costing taxpayers more than $16 billion per month, said Hayden Dublois, the FGA's Data and Analytics Director. 

“Our research and data show as welfare enrollment increases, workforce participation decreases," said Dublois.
