SC House RINOs push new rules to muzzle conservatives of Freedom Caucus | Eastern NC Now

20 conservative Republicans kicked out of GOP caucus for objecting

ENCNow

The establishment swamp Republicans in the South Carolina House are making a power play to slience the new SC House Freedom Caucus by pushing rules that would muzzle any legislator who dares differ with the RINO leadership.  The twenty members of the SC House Freddom Caucus are fighting back.

Led by the RINO majority leader, the RINOs pushed through a "loyalty" oath that they demanded each legislator to sign,  It was loyalty to the caucus, not to the party or to party principles.  It prohibited any GOP caucus member from posting voting records like photos of the electronic voting board showing how each member votes on a bill.  It also prohibited members from getting involved in primaries against incumbents.  It prohibited any criticism of how any GOP member votes on a bill.  In short, it was an attempt to deprive conservative members of their free speech rights.

The nineteen Freedom Caucus members in the SC House refused to bow down and were immediately threatened with being booted out of the Republican Caucus.   The leader of the Freedom Caucus appeared on national talk radio today to announce their fight back against the RINOs.

Former US Senator Jim DeMint (R-SC) published an op-ed backing the Freedom Caucus members:
