The Democrats, as well as RINOs like Thom Tillis want to call them "Dreamers"; illegal aliens who claim to have been brought into the US as children. Obama by executive order created the DACA program to protect these illegal aliens from deportation. One of them has now been sentenced to life in prison for a triple murder. Many others have also had criminal convictions for other felonies.
Luis Perez, 27, is an illegal alien from Mexico who registered as a DACA "Dreamer" under Obama, and has now been convicted of a triple murder of three Americans. Prior to those murders, Perez had another conviction and was sought by ICE for deportation, but the sanctuary state of New Jersey refused to turn him over. Three Americans have now died that would not have if New Jersey had not protected this criminal.
NC's two US Senators have very different records on these illegal aliens. RINO Senator Thom Tillis has been involved in several schemes to give the DACA illegal aliens amnesty and a pathway to citizenship. Sen. Ted Budd, on the other hand, introduced the Justice for Victims of Sanctuary Cities Act which would allow victims of crimes by illegal aliens and their families to sue sanctuary cities and states that protect criminal illegal aliens from deportation.
