Her unpopular radical gender law brings down Scotland;s leader | Eastern North Carolina Now

Nicola Sturgeon resigns as First Minister amid backlash to her radical gender law

The ruling Scottish Nationalist Party's Nicola Sturgeon has resigned as Scotland's top leader, or First Minister, amid a growing backlash to her radical gender policies that would have allowed anyone to "self identify" as whatever they wanted.  Feminists are celebrating her departure as polls showed the radical gender policy was not popular with voters.  The issue came to a head when Sturgeon's government directed that a brutal serial rapist be sent to a womens prison because he now "identified" as a women.  The UK's national government had recently overruled Sturgeon's gender identity law.

Ironically, the front runner to succeed Sturgeon as head of the Scottish Nationalist Party is a member of an evalgelical church which opposes homosexual marriage and abortion.  That would be a cultural sea change from Sturgeon.

UPDATE: Now the Scottish Nationalist Party is preparing to rip up and repeal Sturgeon's unpopular woke transgender law.

A boy who thinks he is a girl is as nutty as a boy who thinks he is Napoleon. Scotland can do a lot better than Sturgeon.
