SAVE THE WHALES (from the offshore wind turbines) | Eastern North Carolina Now

The body count of whales killed by construction of "green energy" wind turbines off of the northeast US coast is mounting.  It is now mounted to 25 dead whales in just the last three months.  Climate alarmists and Biden administration agencies are trying to sweep it under the rug, but real environmentalists are suing to stop the whale slaughter.  The critically endangered Atlantic Right Whale is among species under threat from the offshore wind turbines.

It is not just true environmentalists who should be concerned about the Biden regime's efforts to industrialize our oceans with these whirling monsters.  Offshore wind is one of the most expensive ways to make electricity, something that gets passed on to the consumer.  NC Governor Roy Cooper is also on board with Biden on industrializing our oceans.

Lets not forget that leftwing NC Governor Roy Cooper is hot to trot to put these offshore wind turbines off of our own coast, which is a threat to more than just whales, but also to the commercial fishing industry, tourism, and ocastal property values. Unfortunately, we have some leftwing Republicans helping him in his Greta Thunberg climate crusade, and that includes Senator Jim Perry, a RINO who is supposed to represent Beaufort County, as well as House Speaker Tim Moore. It is also a threat to electric ratepayers. NC's Green New Deal has already cost us one double digit rate increase, and many more are likely to follow based on what has happened in other countries that went down that road.
