Now it is Norway that stops child genital mutilation, puberty blockers | Eastern North Carolina Now

The Kingdom of Norway is the latest to halt child genital mutilation surgery and use of chemical castration drugs as "puberty blockers" on children.  This follows similar action in Finland, Sweden, the UK and eight US states so far, with legislation in more states moving through the legislative process.  The supporters of child genital mutilation call it "gender affirming care."

Norway's Healthcare Investigation Board has published new guidelines that do not allow either genital mutilation surgery or use of puberty blockers on children in clinical settings and restrict such actions to research.  The board determined that "gender affirming care" is "not evidence based."

Last year, the UK's National Health Service issued a directive to the NHS' doctors that most children grow out of gender confusion naturally and that not only were surgeries and drugs not to be used, but doctors should also not suggest children use new names or pronouns.

Unfortunately North Carolina is not one of the states where children are being protected and several medical conglomerates, including ECU Health are seeking to profiteer off of genital mutilation of children.  RINO legislative leaders House Speaker Tim Moore and Senate president pro tem Phil Berger are in the hip pocket of Big Medicine and recently pushed through the Obamacare Medicaid expansion that will pour more money into mutilating children.  Special interest legislators controlled by Big Medicine like state Rep. Tim Reeder (RINO-Pitt) and state Sen. Jim Perry (RINO-Lenoir) also backstand those who want to profiteer off of this butchery of children.
