AZ Sup Ct. rules for Kari Lake in election lawsuit | Eastern NC Now

sends key signature verification issue back to trial court

ENCNow

Arizona's Supreme Court has sent a key issue from the election lawsuit filed by GOP nominee Kari Lake back to the trial court for determination.   That issue involves the failure of the Maricopa County election officials to follow state law on verifying signatures on mail-in ballots.  Maricopa County is the state's largest county and has been the center of election shananigans in the last two elections and an arrogance by local officials who seem to see themselves as above the law.

Last month the German state of Berlin had to re-run its state election when the Constitutional Court ordered that remedy after finding voting irregularities in the previous state election.  Other European courts have also ordered new elections due to election irregularities.  One can only hope we finally have an American court with the backbone to do that.
