Iceland passes law to crack down on illegal alien asylum seekers | Eastern NC Now

cuts off their welfare

ENCNow

Iceland's parliament has passed a new law to clamp down on illegal aliens trying to claim asylum there.  It did so by cutting off their welfare payments, an obvious way to discourage illegal aliens from wanting to come.  The bill passed parliament by a vote of 38 to 15 after 2,500 "asylum seekers" showed up last year in this country of 370,000 people.  The legislation was entitled the "Alien Bill"

Why is a country in the middle of the North Atlantic having a problem with illegal alien "asylum seekers"?  They recently joined the Schengen Zone, a group of European countries where there are no customs and immigration checks in flights between countries, allowing asylum seekers to fly from many European countries without border checks.  On top of that, pro-migration NGOs worked to help bring them over.

Asylum treaties and laws are being widely abused all over the world by illegal alien migrants and need severe tightening.  Even UN aid groups admit that most "asylum seekers" are really economic migrants who are not entitled to asylum.  They use fictictious asylum claims to get their foot in the door.

A country can crack down on asylum abuse by illegal aliens simply by strict enforcement of the treaties. One is do an immediate determination of asylum as Hungary does in an immediate hearing and then deny it, expelling the migrant immediately afterward. Another is to focus on the fact that if a migrant is coming from a country where he is already safe, he is nont entitled to asylum and can be immediately turned back. Since most of them lie to make up reasons to claim asylum, using a polygraph while they are making the claims could immediately expose their lies and justify denial of entry.
