Kansas legislature overrides Governor's veto to ban boys from girls sports | Eastern NC Now

liberal Democrat governor failed to stop legislation

ENCNow

Kansas has become the 20th state to ban biological males from girls sports, as the legislature overrode the veto of the state's Democrat governor.   The vote to override in the Senate was 28 to 12 and in the House it was 84 to 40.

This issue has also seen action in Europe recently where Swim England, the sports body for competitive swimming banned biological men from the womens swimming categories.  They created a new "open" category in which biological men who cliam to thnk they are women can compete.

It is regarded as cheating for biological men to compete in womens sports events because their different body structure gives them an unfair advantage over real women.

Other legislation working its way through the Kansas legislature would ban persons of the opposite biological sex from the bathrooms and locker rooms of the other sex and ban child genital mutilation and use of chemical castration drugs on children..

Meanwhile Idaho's governor signed a bill criminalizing child trafficked for the purpose of abortion without the consent of parents or guardians.

North Carolina is getting left behind by other states that are passing lots of legislation to protect children.
