Biden launches new attack in Democrats' war on womens sports | Eastern North Carolina Now

The Biden regime is pursuing the far left's war on womens sports, trying to force biological men into womens competition.  Because the body structure of a male body gives them an unfair advantage over real women competitors in most sports, this is tantamount to cheating.  It is no different in impact that taking steroids.

The Biden regime is trying to write an administrative regulation to hijack Title IX of the Civil Rights Act, which was passed by Congress in 1972 to protect womens sports.  They want to inject "gender identity" into that law by administrative fiat, which would defeat the very purpose for which TItle IX was originally passed.  They want to do this without even running it by Congress as they pervert the purpose of a law that Congress passed.  Their gambit would seek to cut off funds for schools that do not knuckle under to allowing biological men to compete in womens sports.

Twenty states have so far passed legislation to prohibit biological men from participating in womens sports and similar legislation is pending in other states.  This Biden administrative regulation would fly in the race of that existing state law.  It is likely that state attorneys general would sue the Biden regime to overturn this administrative regulation that perverts the original federal statute.

The Biden regime has also floated requiring schools that take federal funds to allow the opposite biological sex into restrooms and locker rooms.
