Moore County school board moving forward on Parents Rights policy | Eastern NC Now

Not waiting for legislature to protect parents rights

ENCNow

Not depending on the legislature to adopt the Parents Rights bill now pending, the Moore County Board of Education is moving forward with its own Parents Rights local school policy.  The draft was published two months ago, and it was on the agenda for their work session earlier this month.  Now it is scheduled for a vote at the next school board meeting.

The concern in the General Assembly is that House Speaker Tim Moore has a staff of liberals, including his Deputy Chief of Staff who is a leader of a radical homosexual activist group, Equality North Carolina.  Last session, Moore, with this bad influence around him, blocked the Parents Rights bill from consideration after the Senate overwhelmingly approved it.

Meanwhile on the other side of the Atlantic, the British government is set to announce a new policy that will require schools to inform parents of any sign of transgenderism of their children and ban students who claim to be transgender from playing contact sports with the opposite biological gender.

Our Beaufort County school board should be doing this, and I am sure our liberal bureaucrat superintendant will oppose it here, too.
