Biden Democrats now target air conditioning - deliberately raise its cost | Eastern North Carolina Now

The Biden regime's climate alarmist policies are deliberately making air coniditioning cost more, and they are doing it as part of their climate alarmist crusade.  Biden officials have set limits on the supply of refrigerants, driving up their cost, and also forced repair workers to carry them in new, more costly tanks.  Depending on the system, a recharge now already costs up to $500 more than it did last year, and that is likely to keep going up.  This is all caused by the artificial constraints created by Biden's appointees in the name of "climate change"..

Then there is the cost for electricity to run the air conditioning.  Biden's climate policies are also driving that up, pushing more costly and less reliable wind and solar over cheaper and more dependable traditional electricity sources.  Some liberal state governments are adding to this burden, and unfortunately, North Carolina's RINO legislative leaders are part of that with their ramming through NC's Green New Deal, HB951, last year, which has already caused a 17% electric rate increase, that is certain to just be the first of many.

So, if you can't afford your air conditioning this summer, blame a Democrat . . . and a RINO.

You Climate Scientologists are just pure nutjobs. The Earth is simply in one of its natural multi-century warming cycles. The last cooling cycle, the Little Ice Age or Maundaer Minimym ended in the 19th century. This warming cycle is not as warm as the last one, the Medieval Warm Period, nor the granddaddy of all warming cycles, the Holocene Maximum. These cycles have always rotated, and do so naturally. The fact that some self serving scientists now want money and power by claiming manmade CO2 has something to do with it is laughable.

Yeah, the climate cult is bound and determined to make it rough. Look at Germany which started down this idiotic path years before we did. Their residential electric rates are three times what ours are and they keep going up. That is what expensive and unreliable wind and solar power does to electric rates. Tripling our power bills; yeah these climate cult Democrats are going to make it rough on the middle and working class, but the elistists who push this crap at the WEF have plenty of money to pay their bills.

The point is that it is the Biden Democrats trying to force global warming in our personal spaces by artificially forcing up the cost of air conditioning.

The point is you cant live without A/C. Yet 100 years ago, everybody did.

Now we know who is causing global warming. When we can't afford air conditioning because the Biden Democrats have run up the cost, they will be the ones directly responsible for our own personal warming inside our homes.

In the last multi-century warm cycle, the Medieval Warm Period, air conditioning was not invented yet and people made it through until the following cold cycle, known as the Maunder Minimum or the Little Ice Age arrived for several centuries. During this natural warm cycle, we do have air conditioning if the climate cult would just let us use it!

its interesting. The climate has changed so much almost none of us would consider not living with A/C. Yes only 100 years ago nobody even knew what A/C is.
