Sweden doubles immigrant wage requirement to block low wage immigration | Eastern North Carolina Now

Sweden's new center-right government is doubling the wage requirement for legal immigrants from outside Europe to get work permits, and if they are not eligible for a work permit, they are not eligible to immigrate.  Unless an aspiring immigrant can show that they will earn at least 2,534 euros per month, they will not be eligible to immigrate.  Government officials pointed out that currently half of the migrants in the country were not able to survive without welfare.

What has your panties in a twist? The fact that many illegal aliens use anchor babies to get on the welfare train?

The rise in Welfare among immigrants generally was even documented 30 years ago in a scholarly article from Harward Univeristy, noting a very sharp rise from the 1970 census to the 1990 census. scholar.harvard.edu

It has undoubtedly grown even more since then, but they no longer put the citizenship question on the census to get the data. Trump tried to get it back on but was bushwhacked on that by Biden.

This is just another reason we need to end birthright citizenship and do like European countries and base citizenship on the nationality of the parents.

Actually, 51% of immigrant-led households in the US are on some type of welfare benefits compared to 30% of households headed by native born Americans.

The numbers in the US are remarkable consistent with the experience of Sweden, and this in spite of LEGAL immigrants to the US being barred from most forms of welfare for five years from arrival.

Leftwing internet trolls like Bobbie only speak from their leftwing narative and talking points, which often do not reflect reality.

Makes one wonder how many of the illegal invaders coming to this country end up on welfare.
