Mitt Romney has been roundly booed at the Utah state GOP convention.  He now has a primary challenger for the GOP nomination for US Senate in 2024.

Trent Skaggs, mayor of Riverton, Utah has announced his candidacy against Romney in the GOP primary, pointing out that the pledges Romney made when he moved to Utah to run for the Senate have fallen by the wayside and Romney usually votes opposite of his promises.

There are other, more prominent politicans also looking at a primary challenge to Romney and persistant rumors that Romney may fold and not seek reeleciton.

This is a case of the reverse “Snake Fable”. We did not know he was a snake when we picked him up. So many good patriotic people worked for this man when he ran against Obama. And then he folded during the debates. Since then, we have witnessed his get even approach to anything related to Trump or his policies and a complete neglect of the principles that he grew up with. It is time for all of us to do a better job of vetting our candidates and sending money directly to those that we support.

Romney needs to be G-O-N-E. When I figure out his strongest primary opponent, I will send that opponent a nice contribution. Even from NC, we need to do our part to get rid of Romney.
