Sen Mike Lee: Biden OMB Director played McCarthy on debt bill | Eastern North Carolina Now

says bill was a surrender not a compromise

ENCNow

Senator Mike Lee (R-Utah) minced no words in saying that McCarthy's debt ceiling bill was a surrender by Republicans, not a compromise.  He said that McCarthy got played by Biden Office of Management and Budget Director, and the McCarthy bill did almost nothing to impact spending.

Lee pointed out that Republicans in the Senate voted against it almost two to one, and even in the House more Democrats voted for it than Republicans.

We in North Carolina can be proud of Senator Ted Budd who voted for the taxpayers and against this boondoggle bill, but we should hang our heads in shame that we elected Thom Tillis and Greg Murphy who backstabbed taxpayers by supporting this fiasco.

McCarthy would not have been played if he didn't want to be. McCarthy was and still is a RINO just like Tillis and Murphy are.
