RINO Texas speaker of the House gets major conservative primary challenger

ENCNow

The RINO Speaker of the Texas House of Representatives, Dade Phelan has become a thorn in the side of Texas conservatives, blocking a number of key legislative initiatives that had passed the Senate.  Polling done after the close of the legislative session showed Phelan would lose a primary to a conservative challenger.  Now, a strong primary challenger has emerged, conservative former Orange County GOP chairman David Covey, who has announced his candidacy against Phelan.  Covey plans to hammer Phelan on two issues in particular where Phelan failed Republican voters, border security and property tax relief.

Where can North Carolina find its David Covey to run against liberal RINO House Speaker Tim Moore?  We also need one to take one liberal RINO Senate President Pro Tem Phil Berger.

The RINO element is the weak, vulnerable underbelly of the Republican Party.

Just witness the local Beaufort County GOP as a fantastic example of the RINO taint, and its profound effects on local governing.

Since I am senior to all Beaufort County Commissioners, save the venerable Hood Richardson, I can not recognize any difference between the Left and today's local Beaufort County Republicans serving as the Left's political enablers.

That is sad commentary indeed since these are so-called "Republican" county commissioners are embraced by this RINO element that serves in their diminished capacity, which is of NO use to Real Republicans.

Phil Berger and Tim Moore have repeatedly led sellouts to the Democrats and Roy Cooper on major issues. THey both badly need primaries. Add John Bell to that as well.
