War on History: statue of Revolutionary War general removed in NY | Eastern NC Now

except for actions of General Phillip Schuyler, the statue probably would have been an English king

ENCNow

The Maoist War on History of the American left's assault on historical statues has now claimed a hundred year old statue of Revolutionary War General Phillip Schuyler which stood outside city hall in Albany, New York.  The Revolutionary War patriot and later senator led succesful military operations in New York that saved the state from the British.  He was the father in law of Alexander Hamilton.

Last year, a statue of President Theodore Roosevelt was removed from in front of a New York Museum to meet demands of the leftist War on History.

This reminds me of our scalawag congressman Greg Murphy voting to remove southern statues at the Capitol and voting to remove the name "Fort Bragg" from that base. Murphy is part of the cancel culture against the south. Hopefully, he will have a primary.
