Poll: Romney underwater on approval, most think he should not run again | Eastern NC Now

booed at Utah state GOP convention, Romney has not said if he will run in 2024

ENCNow

RINO Senator Mitt Romney has not yet said if he will run for the Senate from Utah again in 2024, but the signs look bad for him if he does.  Romney was loudly booed at the last Utah state GOP convention.  He already has a conservative mayor who has announced a primary campaign against him.  And now he is underwater in the polls on approval and a majority of Utah voters say he should not run again.

A poll conducted for the Deseret News, Utah's largest newspaper shows that 41% approve of Romney's job performance while 49% disapprove, making him "underwater" by 8 points, not a good position for re-election.  Among all voters, 51% said Romney should not run again while 47% said he should.  Tellingly, while 55% of Democrats said he should run again, 54% of Republicans said he should NOT run.

Romney's approval numbers have dropped significantly since March.

It looks like Romney will be the next Lix Cheney if he runs again.
