Democrat donor arrested for arson in starting big Yosemite wildfire

Democrat politicians blamed "climate change" for the Oak Fire in the area of Yosemite National Park that burned 30 square miles and destroyed 127 homes last year, but in reality the cause of the fire turns out to be a leftwing arsonist who was also a political contributor to Democrat and leftwing causes. Edward Frederick Wackerman of Mariposa, California faces multiple felony charges including aggravated arson for starting the fire.

And your statement, as is usually the case, is factually wrong. According to the National Forest Service, natural causes of wildfires, including lightning strikes, only amount to 15% of US wildfires. Human causes, including arson, amount to 85% of wildfires causes.

And you are really twisting what you posted below. THat may have been what you intended to say, but that interpretation is really stretching what you actually posted.

When Australia had a big batch of wildfires a few years back, it was found that a majority of them were arson, and many of the arsonists were caught. Yes there is the occaisional lightning strike or downed power line, but way too many of them, in this country too, are from arson. This is also not the first leftie ideologue caught starting a wildfire, and probably won't be the last. Illegal aliens have also been caught for starting wildfires. One thing that is NOT causing them, no matter what the far left politicians try to jabber on about, is "climate change".
