Poland and Hungary block EU migrant relocation pact | Eastern NC Now

would have forced countries to take migrants

ENCNow

The European Union's migrant relocation pact, that would have forced countries to take illegal alien "asylum seeker" migrants or pay 22,000 euros for each one they refused,  is in tatters after Hungary and Poland stood firm in their vetoes at an EU summit.  There are concerns that the EU's unelected bosses may try to impose the pact anyway.  A number of other countries abstained, but the globalist regimes in France and Germany pushed hard for it.

To emphasis their point, Poland's government is moving to put a referendum of the Polish people on the subject on their parliamentary election ballot this fall.  Hungary helped shut down an earlier EU push on the subject some years ago by a similar referendum, with its voters rejecting forced acceptance of illegal alien migrants by over 90%.

Poland's prime minister pointed out that Poland took in far more than its fair share of Ukrainian refugees, who were genuine refugees from a war, and the EU only reimburses them 100 euros per refugee per year, but wanted Poland to have to pay 22,000 euros for every Third World migrant they refuse.

The leadership of the EU is trying to flood Europe with Third World migrants who do not assimilate, are prone to go on welfare, and prone to commit crime. More countries need to follow Brexit and get out of this mousetrap. Poland's prime minister certainly has the right idea, but the Eurocrats will do all they can to overcome him.
