Emmy Awards 2023: Here Is The Full List Of Nominees | Eastern North Carolina Now

    The nominees for the 75th Emmy Awards were announced Wednesday.

    "Succession" led with 27 nominations. Next was the zombie thriller "The Last of Us" with 24, "The White Lotus" with 23, and "Ted Lasso" with 21.

    These top awards for television will be hosted by Emmy Award-nominated actress Yvette Nicole Brown and Television Academy Chair Frank Scherma. The announcement happens as the deadline to head off a strike by more than 160,000 members of the SAG/AFTRA union expires Wednesday at 11:59 p.m. PDT. Television writers have been on strike for more than two months, which has affected filming and production on many shows.


    The Emmy Awards are currently scheduled to be presented on September 18. That date could change due to negotiations with the union.
