UK's green energy disaster is warning to America says major UK newspaper | Eastern North Carolina Now

One of the leading British newspaper, the Daily Telegraph of London has published an article warning America not to follow the green energy disaster of the United Kingdom which has led to skyrocketing power prices and cratering reliability.  In particular, it raises serious questions on the viability of wind power, and especially offshore wind turbines.

In America, we have leftwing politicians like Joe Biden and Roy Cooper trying to push our country in this same disastrous direction, and both are fully pushing the very worst part of it, offshore wind.   Sadly there are GOP quislings going along with it, with RINO legislative leaders in NC, Moore and Berger, sucking up to woke energy monopoly Duke Energy to promote the same thing.  They are as bad as Democrats, and the RNO state seantor representing Beaufort County, Jim Perry, is right in the thick of supporting this anti-consumer scam.

If you are referring to the Climategate emails by the climate alarmist politicized scientists, yeah what they were doing trying to cancel any scientist with a different opinion was surely political and not real science, but that is characteristic of the climate alarmist mad scientists.

No, I am referring to the many senior scientists from prestigious institutions who were interviewed for that documentary on a major British TV network, Channel 4. You can watch it now on the internet but it was originally broadcast over the air throughout the UK.

Or there is the 2022 Nobel Prize winner in physics, Dr. John Clauser who wrote: "The popular narrative about climate change reflects a dangerous corruption of science that threatens the world's economy and the well-being of billions of people"

internet "science", isn't science.

Little Bobbie just follows his globalist narrative and refuses to look at the real science. If he would just listen to those prominent scientists from around the world interviewed in that British TV documentary on the global warning scare, he would see the reams of scientific evidence that actively disproves the theory of manmade global warming by CO2.

And actually CO2 is beneficial. It is a necessary nutrient for plants. THe more of it in the atmosphere, the better plants grow. Eliminate it and all plants would die, soon followed by all animals once the food chain was gone.

Some lemmings will take the globalist narrative on climate alarmism as a cause, but thinking people look deeper instead of mindlessly following that ideological knee jerk position. The reality is that a number of natural climate cycles are in play. One is the annual cycle. It is summer and summer is hot. Another is a cycle that tends to last two or three years at a time called El Nino, which also brings hotter weather to North America. We are presently in a particularly strong El Nino cycle. The third is the multi-century warming and cooling cycles. For over a century we have been in a natural multi-century warming cycle, after coming out of a cooling cycle known as the Little Ice Age or Maunder Minimum in the 19th century. All of those cycles bring hotter weather.

CO2 has nothing to do with it. If you would follow the real science instead of the globalist science, you would be aware that CO2 increases do not precede warming phases, but instead FOLLOW them by several hundred years, meaning they are a RESULT of the warming, NOT a cause of it. Only the charlatans who promote it, and the witless fools who believe them, adhere to the climate alarmist dogma. You are clearly not smart enough to be among the charlatans cashing in on this hoax, so you would be one of the witless fools who can't figure out what is really going on, Bobbie.

In North Carolina, it is mostly the RINOs we have to blame for foisting this "green energy" boondoggle on us, not so much the Democrats. It will cost electric ratepayers out the wazoo in higher rates and make our electric supply unreliable. One of the big players pushing this rape of the electric consumer was this district's own state senator, RINO Jim Perry of Kinston. He needs to GO in the next primary. But the two biggest dogs in imposing this far left nonsense on us were House Speaker Timmy "Groupsex Biscuitville" Moore and Senate President Pro Tem Phil Berger (or should that be "Thunberger"). They screwed consumers to brown nose "woke" energy monopoly Duke Energy. The whole sordid story can be read here: www.beaufortcountynow.com

Every bit of it is true, Lyin' Bob. There have been articles with links on most of it previously posted on this site. Your "none of this is true" posts always mean that all of it is true but it goes against your far left narrative. Ask a German about their power prices. Heck the German senator who sponsored Merkel's Energie Wende in the Bunderstag issued a public apology for all the damage it did several years ago, and at the time that was also posted with a link on this site.

Or ask someone from the Australian state of South Australia. When they had coal fired power, they had the cheapest residential electric rates in the world. Now that the Labour Party has imposed its "green energy superpower" policies and blown up all their coal power plants, their residential electric rates are higher than Germany. They have had their first statewide blackout due to failure of wind turbines, and have regular rolling blackouts.
